Q. How does the on site chair massage program work?

A. It depends of your needs; some company's provide chair massage regularly: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly. You can also offer on site massage at special times of the year like company events.

Q. Is there a minimum booking for on site chair massage?

A. Yes, a 3-hour minimum booking is required.

Q. How many massages can you do per hour?

A. We can massage 2-8 employees per hour. There can be a 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minute massage for each employee. Companies usually choose a 15-minute massage. It depends on your needs or budget, we can always make arrangements for your company. For trade shows, golf tournaments, or any other events a 2-5 minute massage works very well.

 
Q. Do you require a special place to do the massage?

A. We need approximately 5feet x 6feet space. Boardrooms, lunchrooms, empty offices, or quiet corners work the best.

Q. Are the employees going to be too relaxed and/or sleepy after the massage?

A. Chair massage is very relaxing, but it is also designed to rejuvenate and reenergize people. After the massage, their energy and alertness increases as well as concentration improves. Employees are ready to go back to work with fresh bodies and minds.

Q. Who provides chair massage?

A. Relax at Work works with a team of professional chair massage practicioners. They are certified and insured.

Q. What kind of massage is a chair massage?

A. This is a combination of Swedish and Shiatsu style techniques also specially designed techniques for use in the chair.

Q. Is chair massage suitable for everyone?

A. Usually yes, but there are some contraindications like recent injury, surgery, severe pain, flu, high temperature, skin infection, phlebitis, thrombosis and pregnancy.

Q. Is chair massage covered by our insurance plan?

A. Because every plan insurance is different, please check with your insurance plan provider.

Q. What is the cost of chair massage per hour?

A. Usually the cost per hour is $65, but it varies depending on the number of hours, number of practitioners and frequency .Please refer to Request a Quote to get the most accurate cost.

 

Q. What is your cancelation policy?

A. Please notify us at least 72 hours before scheduled event (no charge). Less than 72 hours, we charge 50 % of the cost. Less than 24 hours of a scheduled event, we will charge 100% of the final cost.
